While unable to physically grace us with his presence, Stephen Colbert was kind enough to have Tom Brokaw read our graduating class a note.

No fair!  When I graduated Fordham our speaker was the Dean of NYU (the school that rejected 80% of my class).  Worse still, he didn’t have a funny note from Colbert to read.

More CH artwork for this week…
For those of you curious about this Beatles project, know Mike Parker is gonna blow us out of the water.

I’m pretty excited for my Beatles parody to be done.  Before it is though, I’ll admit that there are some innaccuracies in the lyrics that serious Beatles fans will be annoyed with, the biggest one being that the song implies Yellow Submarine came after Octopus’s Garden.  If you can get past that I think you’ll like it.  My friend, Scott Taylor, played Ringo in the video and I hear he did a great job so I’m pumped to see it.  This artwork only makes me more excited.
Excuse me, I need to be alone now…

Needed: Cheese Maker

I realize this is a strange request, but does anyone know any cheese makers in NYC?  They don’t even have to be in NYC I guess, just nearby.  They would need to have cheddar/american cheese capabilities.  I have an idea I want to try out.

If you know any cheese producers, email me at streeter.seidell (at) gmail.com. You will be rewarded with a sample of the saddest idea I’ve ever had if it comes to fruition.

I want to go away for a weekend to a city I’ve never visited.  I’ve narrowed it down to Austin or Chicago because I hear the have good food. Anyway, which city should I visit and why?

It's Moving Time Again

Unless I find a roommate in the next few days, I’ve gotta find a new place.  That means my old place is going on the market and I’d love to hand it off to someone I know.  So…if you’re in the market for a great place in Park Slope starting July 1st, shoot me an email.  Here are the deets…

  • 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom duplex (living room/kitchen are on the 4th floor, bedrooms are in a penthouse)
  • Two private roofdecks with views of Manhattan
  • Big living room/kitchen with an office alcove
  • Laundry across the street
  • $2800/month

My landlord, Nick, is great (a very rare thing in New York).  If you’re interested in the place email me at streeter.seidell (at) gmail.com.

New Phantom.  Now under the banner “Streeter Theeter.”  It going to be a web seires a la Hardly Working and will feature the two characters I do - Overgrown Guy Girlfriend and Best Buy Manager - and Phantom videos.  Who knows, maybe, if I’m lucky, I’ll get a cool motion graphics intro.  For now though, enjoy Phantom and his quest to win the heart of a lady.
