I totally had this idea a while back after seeing a girl I thought was pretty while riding the train. I have a girlfriend so I wasn’t going to act on it but it did strike me as strange that there was no forum out there to communicate mass transit crushes besides the mess that is Craigslist missed connections. This was pre-Moberg, too.
Anyway, I wanted to buy a domain for it in case I every got around to developing the idea. I tried to get SubwayCrush.com but it was taken. What showed up on the page when I went there was their logo with no info on what the site would be. On the off chance that it would be something different, I bought TunnelCrush.com and waited. Well, SubwayCrush has debuted and, as I feared, it’s the same idea. Oh well. I was never actually going to make that site but it’s cool that someone did. It looks pretty slick, too.
