I happened to think this Digital Short was really funny. The problem is none of my friends agree with me. Am I crazy for liking this one? I don’t think so and here’s why.
- They mimics reggae music and lyrics pretty well which, in itself isn’t funny, but…
- There are actual jokes in this one! Unlike some recent Digital Shorts that just seem to be Andy Samberg acting a fool for no apparent reason, this one takes aim at college rastas and, I think, shreds them pretty well. “Rude boy living in the shanty dorms.” C’mon! That’s funny! “Me toil part time at jah Cold Stone Creamery.”
- They shot a lot of it at the Manhattan campus of my college.
I suppose each person has his own sense of humor but I’m shocked that no one else finds this funny. Please tell me I’m not alone.
