It seemed inappropriate to promote anything other than the democratic process yesterday, but Tuesday, November 4, 2008, also marked the release of one of my very best friends’ books, Passive Agressive Notes. Based on her wildly popular and much celebrated blog of the same name, it is full of “painfully polite and hilariously hostile notes” that will make you chuckle. I promise. Buy it for your smelly roommate or the guy at work who steals your diet Cokes out of the fridge.
(Also, while I am flattered to be thanked first in the acknowledgements for my support—with a nod to my potential to birth future works of creative genius—I have to confess. As her roommate of 3+ years, what Kerry really means is this: “Thanks, Kim, for inciting enough anger to inspire what has become a small web-based enterprise, one that has allowed me to quit my day job and clean up after your shit all day long now.”)
